I am off to Canada on sunday and will be back on the 2nd of feb. I will still try to light candles
as and when i can while i'm out there.

sturgess and their cousin Marcus Holmes. Thankyou.
Miles Aaron Rawlins died on the 20th July 1988. He was 171/2 months old. Miles' problems began when
he was three days old, the first problem being that he didn't wake up or even cry. He was put into
intensive care, as he seemed really floppy, like a ragdoll and he couldn't suck from a bottle, so he
had to be tube fed. He weighed 8lb 6oz when he was born and only weighed 13lb 2oz when he died. he
was the size of a six month old. He had every test going, to try and find out what was causing the
problems, he had chest infection after chest infection and eventually died from bronchial pneumonia.
It was thirteen years after he died, i was told that he had Rett Syndrome like my daughter Chloe
Sturgess. In 1988 Rett Syndrome wasn't known about in this country.
Miles was a lot like Chloe, he was always very happy. He only ever cried twice in his life. He loved
to be around men and other children. He was also like Chloe in the way of he loved himself, he would
just stare at himself in the mirror for ages. Miles was a perfect baby, apart from all his problems.
Miles was my first baby, and to lose him was devastating. The worst thing of all was i didn't even
know what was wrong with him. I had to wait for seven years before i had another baby. That baby was
Chloe. I believed she was normal, but once she got to eight months old, thats when things started
going wrong. By the time she got to five, i knew that i had been here before, it was just happening
a lot slower. I was never able to move on from Miles because of Chloe having the same problems. Both
of these children were very loving and i hope that they are now both looking after each other.

The last two weeks have been very difficult
for us as a family, it was Christopher’s
Birthday & Angel Anniversary within 2 days
of each other on the Monday My Father-in-Law celebrated his 81st Birthday sadly on the Tuesday he passed away. The day before what would have been Christopher’s 32nd Birthday
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each
and everyone of you that left messages, candles,
tributes, gifts & photographs on Christopher’s website I read every single one.
You are all truly kind, special, amazing, thoughtful and a wonderful bunch of people that have taken the time to make me feel better when you are all dealing with your own private grief.

It would have been Christopher’s Birthday on Wednesday, he was on his way home from having a drink to celebrate his 27th Birthday when the accident happened and sadly he died 2 days later.
